⚠️ Notes & grey zone
Grey zone
The norm found dates from 2004 and refers to the since-repealed Reg. (EC) 998/2003; no updated version or reference to Reg. (EU) 576/2013 was found on the source. The text covers movement with EU member states generally (Germany is not named separately).
Notes
Decree 114/2004 treats dogs, cats and ferrets together; Arts. 3-5 therefore apply to cats identically. It expressly refers to the EU regime (implementing Reg. (EC) 998/2003; San Marino-EEC customs union). Art. 7: the decree does not apply between San Marino and Italy (note only, 2004 wording).
