These are the requirements for entering United Kingdom with a dog, based on a departure from Germany/the EU. Requirements can change — always confirm with the relevant authority before you travel.

Microchip Required
Microchip required, must be implanted before or at the same time as the rabies vaccination (otherwise revaccination); ISO 11784/11785 (otherwise you may have to bring your own reader).
Rabies vaccination Required
Rabies vaccination required (inactivated/recombinant, approved in country of use); wait at least 21 full days after the first vaccination (or last of the primary course); no wait after a booster with no break in cover.
Minimum age / young animals Required
The vet needs proof the pet is at least 12 weeks old before rabies vaccination (number in text only, numeric field empty: single source).
Parasite treatment Required
Tapeworm treatment (praziquantel or equivalent against Echinococcus multilocularis) by a vet every time entering GB, no more than 5 days (120 h) and no less than 24 h before entry; exempt only when coming directly from Finland, Ireland, Northern Ireland, Malta, Norway (not Germany).
Health certificate Required
From an EU country one of three documents is required: a pet passport issued in the EU, an AHC issued in Great Britain within the last 6 months, or a Great Britain pet health certificate. A pet passport suffices, no separate health certificate needed.
Breed restrictions Prohibited
Banned dog breeds cannot be brought into Great Britain unless the dog already has a valid Certificate of Exemption (a prohibition; level 'required' only approximates it). The breed list is not in the captured pages.
