Pet entry requirements: Dog → Singapore
These are the requirements for entering Singapore with a dog, based on a departure from Germany/the EU. Requirements can change — always confirm with the relevant authority before you travel.

Import permit Required
Import licence required before arrival, valid 90 days from issue; a dog/cat licence (PALS) must be obtained first.
Microchip Required
Microchip per ISO 11784 or ISO 11785 Annex A; number must appear in all vaccination/treatment records.
Rabies vaccination Required
Germany = Schedule II: valid rabies vaccination (inactivated or recombinant vaccine) per manufacturer recommendations.
Minimum age / young animals Required
Dog/cat must be at least 12 weeks old at export.
Rabies titer test Required
Schedule II (DE): blood sample at least 28 days after valid vaccination, at least 90 days and within 12 months before export, at a WOAH reference lab or lab approved in a Schedule I/II country; titre at least 0.5 IU/ml.
Parasite treatment Required
External and internal parasite treatment between 2 and 7 days before export.
Health certificate Required
Veterinary health certificate (Schedule II template); Sections I to III completed by treating vet.
Official endorsement of the health certificate Required
Section IV of the same certificate must be endorsed by the exporting country's official government veterinarian.
Quarantine Required
Schedule II: no quarantine if pet arrives less than 5 days from owner's entry and has lived at same address 6+ months; otherwise minimum 10-day home quarantine (personal licence) or 10-day AQC (commercial).
Breed restrictions Prohibited
Prohibited dog breeds: Pit Bull (incl. American Pit Bull Terrier, American Staffordshire Terrier, Staffordshire Bull Terrier, American Bulldog and crosses), Akita, Boerboel, Dogo Argentino, Fila Brasileiro, Neapolitan Mastiff, Tosa, Perro De Presa Canario.
Registration Required
A dog/cat licence must be obtained on the Pet Animal Licensing System (PALS) before applying for the import licence.
